About Me
As a Military Veteran who served almost a decade in the armed services and also worked for several decades in the corporate world, I really understand how life events, both personal and professional, can cause stress, anxiety, depression, panic and trauma responses.
I feel passionate about helping people work through anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD whether it's recent or historic events, supporting you to move forward, with healthier coping mechanisms, to help live a happier and more fulfilling life.
I worked as a volunteer counsellor for over 4 years, for a charity based in Aylesbury and Milton Keynes that supports survivors of sexual assault and abuse, where I have supported and worked with male, female and LGBTQ+ clients. This involved working with adult survivors who have experienced sexual violence, rape, incest, domestic abuse, domestic violence, coercive control, and historic child sex abuse.
I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy).
I am a qualified ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor), and have previous experience of working as an ISVA, supporting agency clients who were going through the Criminal Justice Process.
I have experience of working with both Military Veterans, those currently serving in the military, as well as members serving in the Emergency Services including the Police.
I am also fully insured.
